There are hundreds of Pokémon, with new ones being discovered periodically.  Pokémon mainly come from various Pokémon regions such as Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos, or may be native to [[PokéFarm]] itself.  Pokémon can belong to one or two of the 18 various elemental types: Normal, Water, Fire, Grass, Electric, Ice, Bug, Poison, Psychic, Dark, Ghost, Dragon, Rock, Ground, Fighting, Flying, Steel, and Fairy.  These types determine which [[Fields|Field]] a Pokémon is happiest in.

Pokémon is short for "Pocket Monsters", and are creatures that hatch from Eggs and inhabit the land of Pokéfarm. Some can be bred and raised to evolve into more powerful forms. The PokéDex records all Pokémon encountered.

Overview

There are hundreds of Pokémon, with new ones being discovered periodically. Pokémon mainly come from the six Pokémon regions, which are Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos, and can also be native to PokéFarm itself. These types determine which Field a Pokémon is happiest in.

To Obtain

Pokémon can be obtained in the following ways:

  • Hatching Pokémon from Eggs.
  • Evolving Pokémon into Evolution forms.
  • Mega Evolving a pokemon with a Mega Stone
  • Using a Forme Change item on a Pokémon.
  • Adopting from the Shelter or Lab.
  • Breeding Pokémon in the DayCare.
  • Trading, Gifting, or Wonder Trading Pokémon to and from other users in the Trade Centre
  • Events or Rewards on the site listed here.
  • Summoning a Legendary Pokémon.

Categories

Pokémon may be in any of the following categories:

  • Legendary Pokémon are rare Pokémon that can only be obtained through summoning.
  • Basic Pokémon are Pokémon that hatch directly from eggs.
  • Stage 1 Pokémon are Pokémon that have evolved once.
  • Stage 2 Pokémon are Pokémon that have evolved twice.
  • Final Pokémon are Pokémon that can no longer evolve.
  • Mega Forme Pokémon are Pokémon that have been Mega Evolved.

Raising Pokémon

Pokémon can be raised by having other users interact with them by feeding them Berries to increase their EXP. Pokémon will gradually gain levels if interacted with enough, but can only reach a maximum level of 100. A Pokémon can only be interacted with once per day, per user. They can also be raised by sending them to Scour Missions or leaving them in the Daycare.
