You can either obtain them from the Lab, the Shelter, or the DayCare.
The Lab, the Shelter, the Egg Supplier, or the DayCare are the user's options for where to get them.
All users can adopt as many Eggs as they want from the lab. As for the Shelter, you have a limited amount of Pokémon or Eggs you can take per day (this depends on which Shelter Pass you are in possession of), and for the DayCare you must breed two compatible Pokémon for any possible eggs, though you are only allowed to take one per day without a DayCare Pass.
Users may adopt as many Eggs from the Lab as they desire. For the DayCare, the user must breed two compatible Pokémon for any potential eggs, though only six can be taken per day without DayCare Passes, and for the Shelter, the user has a limited number of Pokémon or Eggs they can take per day (depending on which Shelter Pass is in their possession). After a user hatches an egg for the first time, its EggDex is unlocked and the Egg becomes available for purchase in the Egg Supplier.
The numbers of Eggs, if any, a pair produces, is dependent on several factors which mimic the main series Pokémon games.(citation needed) Parents have to be compatible in order to produce Eggs; this can be achieved by either using two Pokémon of the same species or using two Pokémon that are compatible by Egg Group. In-depth information on this can be found on Bulbapedia. In addition, a Ditto Egg can only be found within the Lab or ordered from the Egg Supplier and cannot breed with other Ditto.

Pokémon who have alternate formes often have special Eggs. These Eggs are unique in that some factor of them decides the forme in which will hatch from the Egg. Below is a list of such Pokémon and their Eggs, as well as how to obtain the different formes.

Certain Eggs hatch faster than others. Common Pokémon such as Pichu and Magikarp only need a limited amount of interactions, while rare or legendary Eggs such as Xerneas or Moltres need much more in order to hatch. Eggs gain hatch points when they are clicked. Off of any beneficial bonus days and without a V~ boost, the EXP an egg receives is 50 for a normal user, and 70 for a user with an active Hypermode. Once an egg has enough interactions it is able to hatch, which can be done via its summary page or the user's Party.

Eggs are the first stage of life that all Pokémon start as. The process of raising a Pokémon begins with the egg; up until it hatches, not much can be done with it. They are arguably the core of PokéFarm, with the site being based around hatching Pokémon Eggs. Every basic stage Pokémon hatches from a unique egg. For Pokémon that can breed with incenses, an additional egg was added in the update that was released on the 21st of January 2015.

On the 9th of November 2016, Tazzay, a member of the Graphics Team, updated the egg sprites with newer ones.

Obtaining an Egg

The Lab, the Shelter, the Egg Supplier, or the DayCare are the user's options for where to get them.

The number of Eggs a pair produces, if any, depends on a number of factors that are similar to those in the main Pokémon games. Eggs can only be produced by parents who are compatible, which can be done by pairing up two members of the same species or two members of the same egg group. Detailed information on this can be found on Bulbapedia. In addition, a Ditto Egg can only be discovered within the Lab or ordered from the Egg Supplier and Ditto cannot breed with other Ditto.

Note: Eggs are NOT tradeable.

Special Eggs

Alternate-forme Pokémon frequently have unique Eggs. These Eggs are special in that some factor of them decides the forme in which the egg will hatch. These Pokémon are listed below, along with information on where to find their eggs and various formes.

Pokémon Formes How to Obtain
Alolan Formes (Kanto) Normal and Alolan For Alolan forme, breed a male Kanto Pokémon (eg. Vulpix, Sandshrew, Rattata, etc.) with a compatible female Alolan Pokémon.
Note: The female Pokémon must be an actual region Pokémon and not a Regional Variant Pokémon.
Basculin (Unova) Red Stripe and Blue Stripe Having a Red Stripe Basculin in the party at time of hatching will increase the chance of hatching a Red Stripe Basculin. Blue Stripe also uses this method. Random chance for both when no Basculin is in party or if both formes are in party.
Basculin (Unova) White Stripe Breed a Red Stripe Basculin with a Blue Stripe Basculin.
Flabébé (Kalos) White, Grey, Black, Dark Red, Red, Light Red, Dark Orange, Orange, Light Orange, Dark Yellow, Yellow, Light Yellow, Dark Green, Green, Light Green, Dark Blue, Blue, Light Blue, Dark Aqua, Aqua, Light Aqua, Dark Purple, Purple, Light Purple, Dark Pink, Pink, Light Pink Random chance for any of the colours.
Flurrawr (Exclusive) Boreal and Austral Eggs hatched on slots 1 and 2 will be Boreal. Eggs hatched on slots 5 and 6 will be Austral. Eggs hatched on slots 3 and 4 will be random.

Galarian Formes Normal and Galarian For Galarian forme, breed a male Pokémon with a Galarian forme (eg. Hoennian Zigzagoon, Unovan Stunfisk, Kantonian Ponyta etc.) with a compatible female Galarian Pokémon.
Note: The female Pokémon must be an actual region Pokémon and not a Regional Variant Pokémon.
Geodude (Kanto) Alolan Forme For Alolan Geodude, breed a female Geodude holding a Large Electric Gem with a compatible male Pokémon.
Hisuian Formes Normal and Hisuian For Hisuian forme, breed the male Pokémon with a Hisuian Forme (eg. Qwilfish etc.) with a compatible female Sinnohan Pokémon.
Note: The female Pokémon must be an actual region Pokémon and not a Regional Variant Pokémon.
Indeedee (Galar) Female (which has downward turned spiral horns) and Male (which has upward turned spiral horns) Random chance for either gender.
Maushold (Paldea) Family of 3 and Family of 4 Random chance to evolve into either Family.
Nidoran (Kanto) Female (which is light blue) and Male (which is purple) Random chance for either gender.
Oricorio (Alola) Baile, Pom-Pom, Pa'u, Sensu, and Pointe Style Feed Oricorio the correct Nectar.
Paldean Formes Normal and Paldean For Paldean forme, breed a male Pokémon with a Paldean forme (eg. Kanto Tauros or Johto Wooper) with a compatible female Paldean Pokémon.
Note: The female Pokémon must be an actual region Pokémon and not a Regional Variant Pokémon.

Certain Eggs hatch faster than others. Common Pokémon like Pichu and Magikarp only require a small number of interactions, while rare or legendary Eggs such as Xerneas or Moltres require a lot more to hatch. Hatch points are earned when the Eggs are clicked. The EXP an egg receives off of any advantageous bonus days and without a V boost is 50 for a regular user and 70 for a user with an active Hypermode. Once an egg has enough interactions it is able to hatch, which can be done via its Summary Page or the user's Party.

For the exact amount of needed clicks please view Interactions.

Egg Types

Using the chart below, the user may be able to predict the type of Pokémon that will emerge from an egg based on its description. However, a lot of eggs use strange descriptions and do not fit into the below table.

Egg Type Description Egg Type Description
Normal It's not particularly special. Grass Plants flourish around it.
Water The surface is slightly damp. Fire It's incredibly warm.
Flying It's very light. Ground It's covered in dirt.
Bug It's encased in a sticky film. Psychic It sometimes moves when nobody is looking.
Ghost You feel uncomfortable around it. Poison It gives off a foul smell.
Steel The surface shines like steel. Ice It's oddly cold.
