Counting Party Interactions
The Egg Timer counts Party interactions each hour and uses the last 28 hours' worth of Interactions. Any interaction a user makes will hold equal value no matter when the user makes the interaction. E.G. A user who makes 1,250 Party Interactions at 01:00 will have the Egg Timer active until 09:00 server time the next day.
Interactions made during the current hour are put into a queue. When the clock ticks into a new hour, any Party Interactions a user has made in the past hour get packaged up and put towards their Egg Timer power level. The most recent 28 "packets" are summed up, their total value affects the user's Egg Timer level. The technical term for this is "rolling window" but users can also visualise it as a conveyor belt:
* During an hour, any clicks made are put into a box. They don't count yet.
* On the hour, that box is sealed and placed on the conveyor belt and its value counts.
* Your Egg Timer level is based on the total value of all boxes on the conveyor belt.
* The belt can only fit 28 boxes, after that, they fall off and no longer count.
Turbocharge
Turbocharge allows a user to use Interaction Points to boost the Egg Timer by +5 levels up to a Maximum of 15 levels. Users can click the "Get Turbocharge" button which shows a confirmation popup. This popup will state the Price and how many Interaction Points a user currently has. Initially, this costs 98,0000 and lasts for 28 hours. Users can extend their Turbocharge at any time during the 28 hours by spending 3,500 per hour to bring it back up to the 28-hour mark.
Pokemon Boosts
Family Bonus
The "Family Bonus" is a boost gained by eggs if a hatched Pokémon of the same species, or a forme of that species, is present in the party. The boost is 40%, 70% and 110% respectively per Pokémon added to the party. The bonus caps at three Pokémon. E.G. A Hisuian Voltorb with give a Famiy Boost of 40% to Kantonian Voltorb, Hisuian Voltorb, or Death Star Voltorb eggs. Users can even have one of each type of Voltorb in their party for a boost of 110% towards the eggs.
Fossil Pokémon
Prehistoric Pokémon that are revived from a Fossil have a icon next to their name and grant a larger boost of x2 EXP to eggs of their species than normal Pokémon do. This also stacks with the Family Boost.
Cookies
Cookies are a Consumables item, which if fed to a Pokémon, will boost their EXP by 50% and happiness by 50 points. However, Pokémon at MAX happiness cannot be fed Cookies.
Trivia
*Before the 22nd of May 2024, the Egg Timer would count the Party Interactions on a day-to-day basis. It would reset at the end of each server day.
**This meant that users that made their Interactions at 23:00 server time would only have an hour before the bonus reset.

Experience, or EXP, is what a Pokémon or Egg gains when interacted with. It helps eggs hatch and Pokémon reach the next level. The EXP needed to hatch eggs depends on the species and rarity of the Pokémon. The experience needed to level up Pokémon depends on their EXP group. Additionally, Pokémon gain different amounts of EXP based on the berry that they are fed: the most for a preferred berry, some for a neutral berry, and the least for a disliked berry. All boosts mentioned below can be active simultaneously.

Site-wide Boosts

Niet's Bonus

Niet's Bonus Counter gives a boost up to x3 EXP when activated.

V-Wave

The V~Wave gives a 50% increase to all EXP gained by any Pokémon whose type matches the type that the V~Wave is that day.

If the V~Wave is Fire-type, then all Fire types will gain a 50% bonus to all EXP gained. The V~Wave page will show that day's type and the types that it will be for the following 4 days.

During the Type Race, the V~Wave will always be Stellar-type, giving all types a +20% EXP boost.

Userbar Boosts

Hypermode

Hypermode is an Account Upgrade that gives the user a 40% EXP boost.

Helper Userbar

The Helping Hand, Wiki Editor, and Nitro Booster Userbars grant users a 10% EXP bonus. Users who have these Userbars are not a member of the PokéFarm Q Staff.

Temporary Boosts

Lucky Eggs

Note: Activating another Lucky Egg when already having an active one will overwrite the existing bonus.

The Lucky Egg is an active item that provides 2 EXP per party member and interaction with a time limit of 30 minutes. The EXP Limit is 50,000 EXP and is affected by Niet's Bonus. The Lucky Egg costs 80 Gold Poké each with bundles of 10 Lucky Eggs for 640 and 30 Lucky Eggs for 1,440.

The Super Lucky Egg is a stronger version of the Lucky Egg. It provides 6 EXP per party member and interaction with a time limit of 60 minutes. The EXP Limit is 200,000 EXP and is affected by Niet's Bonus as well. The Super Lucky Egg costs 80 Zophan Canisters with bundles of 10 Super Lucky Eggs for 640 and 30 Super Lucky Eggs for 1,440.

Both items are affected by Niet's Bonus meaning that when Niet's Bonus Counter is active, EXP gained will increase. The bonus EXP gained from this is not counted towards the EXP limit.

Pokerus

Pokérus is a beneficial virus that is passed between users every 15 minutes. Only those who have clicked the host and have been online in the past 15 minutes are capable of contracting it. A Pokérus host receives doubled Interaction Points and EXP when making Interactions.

Birthday Boost

The Birthday Boost gives the user 30% more EXP and lasts a week, starting on their birthday.

  • During an hour, any clicks made are put into a box. They don't count yet.
  • On the hour, that box is sealed and placed on the conveyor belt and its value counts.
  • Your Egg Timer level is based on the total value of all boxes on the conveyor belt.
  • The belt can only fit 28 boxes, after that, they fall off and no longer count.
Note: It does not matter when during each hour a user makes interactions.

Trivia

  • Before the 22nd of May 2024, the Egg Timer would count the Party Interactions on a day-to-day basis. It would reset at the end of each server day.
    • This meant that users that made their Interactions at 23:00 server time would only have an hour before the bonus reset.
