What are Boxes?
Boxes are items that can be opened via the Treasure Boxes page under Items section of the Other Links page in-game. Boxes may contain items, currency, or consumables.
Boxes may be found in Scour Areas, bought off of the Market Board, or traded with other users.
What can be found in Boxes?
Boxes, as stated previously, can hold an assortment of items or currencies. The following have been known to show up in Boxes:
- Gold Poké
- Credits
- Summon Items
- Evolution Items/Special Evolution Items
- Treasure
- Forme-Change Items
- Plates
- Berries
- Mega Stones
- Consumables
On February 20, 2020, the 1% chance of Boxes containing Nothing was removed. Instead, that percentage point was added to the Big GP reward.
Box Odds
These are the subsequent probabilities within each box for these items.

When a Lucky Seal is applied to a Box, a random Summon Item is given. This does not require that the item is unlocked. Weights are applied to different unlock categories, making some more likely than others.

Premium Boxes
A Premium Box is similar to a Box but guarantees at least one Mega Stones, Summon Item, or GP. It can be obtained as a bonus for buying 10,000 Zophan Canisters.
Lucky Seals
A Lucky Seal is an item that can be applied to a Box, guarantees that it will contain a random Summon Item. Single Lucky Seals may be purchased for 100 Zophan Canisters on the boxes page, with discounts for buying multiple. Hypermode users may collect a Lucky Seal every 28 days.
Big Boxes
There are four other types of Boxes that can be purchased. These four larger Boxes all contain further boxes, except for the Premium Box. Boxes include:
- Box Box: a box that contains 21 boxes. It costs 300 Zophan Canisters.
- Box Box Box: a box that contains 6 Box Boxes (126 boxes total). It costs 1,500 Zophan Canisters.
- Gragon's Stash: a box that contains 5 Box Box Boxes (630 boxes total). It costs 6,000 Zophan Canisters.
- Premium Box: a box that contains "pure awesomeness". It can be claimed for free on the Zophan Canisters page after purchasing 10,000 Zophan.
It is also possible to pack 21 Boxes into one Box Box for a fee of 5,000 Credits.
Box Types
All boxes have the same description: "A treasure box that is sealed tight. Its contents are a mystery!" There is no functional difference between different boxes, merely aesthetics.
