Legendary Pokémon are rare Pokémon which are only obtainable by using Summon Items with the exception of some Exclusive Pokémon which can be obtained through events such as Tournaments. All of them require a considerable amount of EXP in order to hatch and level up. Many Legendaries can change Formes, and require rare items to do so. Legendary Pokémon based on animals, such as Articuno, have genders, while those based on inanimate objects, such as Regigigas, are genderless.
