Trivia

  • Perroc's Egg file name was "petrock.png".
  • Users had quite a few thought patterns that were close to figuring out what the Egg was:
    • One user guessed that the Egg was the new Pokémon.
    • Another user thought it would just be a rock.
    • Another thought it would be "literally a rock with googly eyes".
  • Rebecca Marigold developed the design and sprites.
    • It was a half-joking idea to have a pet rock that could be decorated with accessories as an April Fool's event.
  • Methos suggested an egg-shaped fakemon that looked exactly like the egg.
    • This would confuse everyone on whether it hatched.
  • Novan-chan came up with the name.
  • The shiny sprite having a gold pattern is a reference to fool's gold.
