Tools/Options
The Tools/Options page is the third tab on the Farm page. The user can access a few site features from here, as well as edit their personal settings through the available links.
Tools
- Shiny Hunting: Provides information about Shiny Hunting like active modifiers and Account Upgrades.
- Albino Hunting: Provides information about Albino Hunting. Albino Radars can be bought and powered there.
- Boxes: This page includes all kinds of Boxes the user owns and allows to open them. Boxes can be found through Scouring.
- Summon Items: Summon Items can be views and used here. It is also necessary to visit this page to unlock them.
- Money Safe: This is an Account Upgrade where Credits can be kept safe from accidentally spending them.
Display Options
- Vertical Farm Page: When enabled, the Farm page will turn into a tall page that displays all tabs at once. When disabled, the Farm page shows one tab at a time, and will scroll through tabs horizontally.
- Compact Mode: This option removes unnecessary content that makes the site looks nicer but also bigger. Activating Compact Mode reduces the banner, removes the side buffer and minimizes the NavBar.
- Forum Column Mode: Once enabled, the userbars in the Public Forums and when reading Personal Messages will be displayed beneath the avatar of the user. When disabled the userbars are next to the avatar and the user's username.
- Box Mode: Activating this will prevent rounded corners from displaying on the site. This is meant to reduce display lag in some browsers.
- View/Edit/Change Site Skin: Visiting this page allows the user to work with Site Skins.
Profile Options
- Adjust Username: This option lets the user change the capitalisation of letters of the username. It is also possible to change the letters to special characters like changing an U into Ú or Ü.
- Change Password: The password can be changed here, this is not possible when the user registered to PokéFarm using Facebook.
- Change Forum Avatar/Signature: The Avatar and Signature is used in the Public Forums and when writing a Personal Message. To change the Avatar simply copy the image URL into the text field and click save. The maximal size of an Avatar is 150x150 pixels, but it can be smaller if wanted. The signature can be up to 1,500 characters long, this number may differ when using symbols in the signature.
- Set/Change Location: The user can designate their world location here, this is used for some site features but is not shared. To change the location it is necessary to buy a Map Marker for ₪20.
- Link with Facebook: Linking to a Facebook account allows the user to log into PokéFarm through their Facebook account.
Miscellaneous Options
- Manage Bookmarks: Bookmarks that are set in the NavBar can be deleted here.
- Rename Farm: This page allows the user to change their Farm name for a fee of ₢500.
Browser-specific Options
These are options that utilize the browser to bring PokéFarm Q content to the user more easily.
- Internet Explorer: Options relating to Internet Explorer's Pinned Site features are available.
- Google Chrome: To install the PFQ Extension just visit the App Store linked on this page.
