Slithugi
It is said that this vengeful spirit came into existence when a noble died clutching a priceless piece of earthenware. Occasionally it wanders and can be heard crying about the state of its pot, but it never strays far.
Name origin: Combination of Slither and Kintsugi.
Sugikobra
Having been wronged in the past, this Pokémon's resentment may lead to seemingly random rampages. The amount of previously repaired cracks on its pot are often used as an indicator of its temperament.
Name origin: Combination of Kintsugi and Cobra.
Trivia
- The Slithugi Line was created by DuchessLunaire.
- The Slithugi Line is based on Kintsugi.
- Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by fixing the areas of the breaks with lacquer/glue mixed with gold powder.
- They are somewhat based on snake charmers where the cobra slowly comes out of a pot.
