Shinorin
It is said to appear at the birth or the passing of an illustrious Pokémon. After disasters, it would typically appear to spread its blessings and good fortune. One cataclysmic event, however, branded it as the cause and it hasn't been seen since.
Name origin: A combination of Shiro, meaning white, Inoru meaning Pray/to pray/wish and Kirin the Japanese version of Qilin/ 1 horned beast.
Incandescent Forme Shinorin
Its once sleek and shiny scales have long since dulled. From rare sightings, it is said the flames on its back intimidates powerful Pokémon. Despite being labelled a traitor, it continues to try and be a benevolent force.
Trivia
- Shinorin is an Exclusive Mythical Pokémon.[1]
- Shinorin was meant to be more sleek and graceful along with being speedy. Utilizing its horn to fight. Where its Incandescent forme is leaner and slower, putting its body into its hits.
- Shinorin was designed roughly off a Kirin concept and Pokémon like Xerneas and Blitzle also were referenced. It was meant to be simple in its design, as most of said detail would be in its mane and diamond-ish shaped scales.
