Pokémon Info
Cinnamoru
Cinnamoru are very resistant and can survive harsher conditions than their appearance would suggest. Their fur has a rich sweet scent that is popular among enthusiasts.
Name origin: Combination of Cinnamon roll and Morumotto (Japanese name for guinea pig).
Croissaca
Croissaca will use its poisonous spit to repel any potential threat. Its diet causes the berries growing on its back to be poisonous, which it uses as a secondary defense mechanism.
Name origin: Combination of Croissant and Alpaca.
Trivia
- The Cinnamoru Line was created by Rebecca Marigold.
- To clear up any confusion about a "guinea pig" evolving into an "alpaca".[1]
- Rebecca Marigold was going with the "food Pokémon" idea and wanted to have a cinnamon roll that evolves into a croissant.
- They wanted a small, cute-looking Pokémon evolving into a bigger one.
- There is a guinea pig breed called "Alpaca" making it a perfect fit to have an alpaca as the evolution instead of having it become just a "bigger rodent".
