A Zophan Canister

Zophan Canisters (abbreviations: ZC, Zophan, ) are a premium currency that can be used in the Black Market.

Obtaining

Zophan Canisters can only be obtained through real-life money. Either the user has to purchase it or a shareable link can be generated to allow other user to buy them. It is currently not possible to trade Zophan Canisters directly.

The exchange rate between real money and Zophan Canisters is £1 (GBP) equals to 100, which may differ for other currencies like $ (USD) and € (Euro) depending on the current rates. Purchases are only possible through PayPal and only with a minimum purchase of 100. Sometimes promotions may give bonus Zophan Canisters when purchasing them, these are announced on the Public Forums. In case of a promotion a converter tool is available on the page.

Use

Zophan Canisters is the only accepted currency in the Black Market and allows the user to purchase Account Upgrades that are otherwise not obtainable, such as a money safe.

Zophan canisters are the only way to buy a Hypermode Voucher. To find where to buy Hypermode the easiest way is by clicking its symbol, a blue circle with lightning through it. It is a link to the Hypermode, <-- as is that.

Zophan Canisters is the only currency that can be transformed into the other both currencies. It is possible to buy Gold Poké Voucher, where 100 can buy ₪100. Purchasing a bigger amount of Gold Poké can give up to 50% extra Gold Poke. In the Black Market it is possible to buy Treasure that can be sold in the Shop for Credits.

Zophan

Zophan is a substance located within Zophan Canisters. It originates and is limited to the Dark World, an original world from Niet. Except for the Zophan Canisters it does not influence the game any further.[1]

Hypermode

When talking about Niet's original world, Hypermode is similar to Mega Evolution. Pokémon can transform into Hypermode when they're angry or in a similar emotional state. A Pokémon in Hypermode gets Zophan as an additional type, which is super-effective against itself. The base stats of the Pokémon also changes, though the total amount is similar to Mega Evolution. It is also possible that the Ability changes when transforming into Hypermode.

Zophan Moves

Zophan Move Description Power Accuracy PP Type Category
Zophan Shield The user channels a small amount of HP to create a shield that lowers the SpAtk stat of attackers. -- -- 15 Zophan Status
Zophan Pulse The target is attacked with a potentially devastating beam. The user sacrifices life energy to attack. 80 100% 10 Zophan Special
Zophan Beam A life-risking attack. High risk, high reward. 150 90% 5 Zophan Special
Dark Portal A portal to the Dark World is opened, allowing the user to escape. -- -- 5 Dark Status

Zophan Shield

1/8 of the max HP is used to create a shield out of Zophan to protect its caster. In case of an attack the assault gets blocked and the attacker's Special Attack is lowered by one stage. This can be done repeatedly until either the PP runs out or the Pokémon loses all HP and is defeated.

Zophan Pulse

The user of this attack suffers 1/3 of the damage dealt as recoil. With a 10% chance the attack turns into a OHKO move and defeats the opponent instantly, in such a case there is no recoil damage.

Zophan Beam

A powerful attack that inflicts the user 50% of the own max HP as recoil when used, even if the attack misses or fails. The attack can OHKO the opponent with a 30% chance.

Dark Portal

This move can only be used if the Pokémon has at least 1/8 of its HP left, otherwise the attack fails. If it succeeds the Pokémon flees from the battle instantly.

Trivia

  • The word 'zophan' is an anagram of the word 'phazon', a radioactive substance from the Metroid games. The name is a reference to the games.
  • Zophan is a substance found in Niet's origin world, the Dark World.
