Kinaster was released as part of Astral Disruption, and is an Exclusive Pokémon.
Obtaining
Kinaster can be obtained by trading with other users, or by breeding a Lunupine with a Solynx while both parents have maximum Affection.
- Note: Affection is not the same as happiness.
To raise affection give the Lunupine and Solynx 6 Perfect berries of their preference.
Event
Kinaster was first introduced through Astral Disruption, which lasted from the 18th of August to the 31st of August 2017. During this event, users could obtain a Kinaster Egg, but were also tasked with releasing the resulting Kinaster. Users who successfully completed the event received a hint about how to breed Kinaster after the event concluded.

It is very curious and playful. The pattern on its back glows when it's excited, and dulls when it's frightened.
Name origin: Derived from kin, meaning of the same family, and aster, meaning star.
