Kinaster was released as part of Astral Disruption, and is an Exclusive Pokémon.
Obtaining
Kinaster can be bred, or traded among users. The method for breeding it is below.
<spoiler show="Spoilers: Show Method" hide="Spoilers: Hide Method">Breed a Lunupine and a Solynx. Both must be at maximum Affection.</spoiler>
Event
Kinaster was first introduced through Astral Disruption, which lasted from 18th August to 31st August 2017. During the event, users would be asked to perform the following tasks through a series of cutscenes.
<spoiler show="Spoilers: Show Tasks" hide="Spoilers: Hide Tasks">1. Hatch 5 Eggs.
2. Make 300 party interactions on others.
3. Find Lunupine in the Scours.
4. Make 2000 basic interactions.
5. Cultivate 5 Perfect Pecha Berries using professor Laurel's new Amaze Mulch.
6. Defeat an erratic Solynx in battle.
7. Evolve 10 Pokémon.
8. Hatch an Egg, and give the Gem to Ravyne.
9. Complete 2 Scour Missions.
10. Hatch 7 Eggs.
11. Hatch the mystery Egg (Kinaster Egg).
12. Release Lunupine's child (Kinaster). You may have already "grown attached" to it.</spoiler>
