The same holds true for points of interaction. Interacting with an egg earns you 6 interaction points on regular days and, lets say, 7 additional interaction points for each click on bonus days, for a total of 13 interaction points for an egg interaction. To obtain PokéRus it is necessary to interact with the current PokéRus host. When selecting the next PokéRus host it is taken into consideration how many interactions were made with the host, from this the chance of receiving PokéRus is calculated. Interacting more often with the user raises the chance of getting it, but it is not guaranteed as other user also interact with the host. The selection of the next PokéRus host is completely up to chance, so it is still possible for a user to be a PokéRus host, who only interacted once with the past host. The interactions that were made before the host got PokéRus are also taken into consideration, though it is necessary to active within the last 15 minutes for the interactions to count.

If for any reason nobody interacted with the host, then a random [[Staff]] member will receive it.

The Pokérus is a Pokémon Virus on PokéFarm that affects one user at a time for 15 minutes. The times for Pokérus are at the :00, :15, :30, and :45 minute marks.

Effects of Pokérus

It only affects the user who possesses Pokérus. The amount of EXP a user would normally receive doubles when interacting with a Pokérus host. This EXP stacks with bonuses from Wishforge Badges, the Hypermode EXP bonus, and Niet's Bonus Counter. Moreover, when the Pokérus host interacts with Pokémon or Eggs then their received Interaction Points are doubled, and this effect stacks with Garthic's Counter.

In other words, the Pokérus Host would receive ×6 interactions on a Bonus Day when interactions are counted as ×3. Then, an Egg would receive 300 EXP from a single interaction, instead of, the 50 EXP it would receive on an average day.

The same holds true for points of interaction. Interacting with an egg earns you 6 interaction points on regular days and, lets say, 7 additional interaction points for each click on bonus days, for a total of 13 interaction points for an egg interaction. On a day like this, a Pokérus host gets twice as much, with 26 interaction points given for every interaction with an egg.

The Pokérus Host

The Pokérus host is the user that is affected by Pokérus and are recognised by the Pokérus Icon next to their name. Each host will only be affected for 15 minutes before an new host is chosen.

The Pokérus link located on the top of every page takes users to the current Pokérus host. The current Pokérus host will see the Pokérus icon at the top of the page next to Today's Interactions.

Receiving Pokérus

Note: Users must be logged in and active during the previous fifteen minutes to be eligible for the drawing.

Interacting with the current Pokérus host is required to obtain Pokérus. Every 15-minutes, the total number of interactions for every user is included in a drawing. Any interactions that were made before the host obtained Pokérus are counted. Although it is not guaranteed because other users also interact with the host, increasing the frequency of interactions with the host increases the likelihood of "catching" Pokérus. This drawing is used to select the next host randomly.

Note: It is still possible for a user who had only one interaction with the previous host to be chosen as the next Pokérus host due to the winner being chosen randomly.

If there are no interactions with the host, it will be handed to a random staff member.

Immunity

The previous host becomes immune to Pokérus for an hour after it ends. A countdown meter for the Pokérus immunity will appear on the timers bar. This is a measure to stop a single user from continuously receiving Pokérus. The user is unaffected once the immunity expires, and their odds of obtaining Pokérus remain unchanged.
