Gems are a rare item that you can find when hatching Eggs.

Obtaining Gems

Each time an egg is hatched, users have a chance of receiving a gem along with the hatched Pokémon. Each gem's type depends on the type of Pokémon that is hatched; if a Pokémon is dual typed, the gem type will be determined at random from the two types. Ravyne's counter becomes active after the site hatches 80,000 eggs, and affects the amount of gems obtained by a random multiplier.

The formula for your chance to find a Gem by hatching an egg is as follows: <spoiler show="Open for Formula" hide="Close Spoiler">Chance = Eggs Hatched * 0.1 % </spoiler>
