A Friend is a user that someone has sent a friend request to. You can see a the list of online/offline friends you have on the Party or Farm page.
Friend Requests
On every user's Userpage, clicking the button on their About Me will display a drop-down menu which includes the Send Friend Request option. Clicking this will bring up a pop-up window prompting one to enter a message explaining why they want to be friends, as well as the button to actually send the friend request.
Once the request is sent, the other user will receive a Private Message from SYSTEM alerting them that they have received a friend request.
Accepting/Rejecting Requests
On the Farm page, any pending friend requests will be displayed above a user's existing Friends List. From here, a user can accept or reject these requests. Accepting a request immediately adds them to the Friends List and sends the user who sent the request a Private Message stating that their request was accepted. To reject a request, it is required to type a brief message explaining why you are rejecting the request. Rejecting removes the request from your list of friend requests and sends the other user a Private Message stating that their request was rejected along with the message given by the first user.
Removing Friends
When visiting the Userpage of a friend, the Send Friend Request option will be replaced with a Remove Friend option. Clicking this will open a similar pop-up window to sending a request, asking for a reason why you wish to unfriend them. Removing a friend immediately removes them from your Friends List and sends them a Private Message stating that they were removed and the message given by the first user.
Friends List
On both the Farm page and the Party, a list of all accepted Friend Requests will be displayed as a Friends List. This list is divided into online and offline friends. An Open All feature is available for online friends, opening a multi-view of all of the friends' Userpages. On the Farm page, the time last seen is displayed for all friends as well.
