Magquaza was released without announcement on the 31st October 2014 and is an Exclusive Pokémon.
Obtaining
Giving a Jade Orb to a Mismagius will transform it into a Mage Orb, which can then be used to summon a Magquaza Egg.
Event
Magquaza was the second unannounced release of an Exclusive Pokémon. The first place it was noticed was Eltafez's party, where the egg and Pokémon thereafter were viewable. The method through which Magquaza could be obtained was discovered soon after by a few users, and slowly began to be found by others.

Name origin: A combination of Rayquaza and Mismagius, inspired by an episode of the Pokémon anime where a Mismagius invades the dreams of Ash and co. In the dream, the Mismagius fuses with a Rayquaza, creating Magquaza.
