Magquaza was released without announcement on the 31st October 2014 and is an Exclusive Pokémon. Based off an episode in the Pokemon anime, the series of DP, where Ash and friends are asleep and their dreams are taken over by a Mismagius. This causes Ash and friends to have their dreams come true but have a twist, and towards the end the Mismagius fuses with a Rayquaza creating this Exclusive Pokémon.
Obtaining
Magquaza can be obtained through trading, or through the method outlined below.
<spoiler show="Show Method" hide="Hide Method">Giving a Jade Orb to a Mismagius will transform the held item into a Mage Orb, which can subsequently be used to summon a Magquaza Egg. Note that there is no confirmation when the Jade Orb is given to Mismagius.</spoiler>
Event
Magquaza was the second unannounced release of an Exclusive Pokémon. The first place it was noticed was Eltafez's party, where the egg and Pokémon thereafter were viewable. The method through which Magquaza could be obtained was discovered soon after by a few users, and slowly began to be found by others.
