The Saiyan Line encompasses Saiyan Rattata, Super-Saiyan Rattata, Super-Saiyan Raticate, Super-Saiyan 2 Raticate, Super-Saiyan 3 Raticate, and Super-Saiyan 4 Raticate, which were released as part of the New Years 2015 event on the 1st of January 2015 and are a Variant Pokémon.
Obtaining
Saiyan Rattata can be obtained by trading with other users, by breeding with a member of the Saiyan Line, or by breeding a female Kantonian or Alolan Rattata with a male Primeape.
- Note: The female MUST be a Rattata, not Raticate, and the male MUST be a Primeape, not Mankey.
Event
The Saiyan Line was one of 15 Exclusive Pokémon lines to be added in the New Years 2015 event.[1]
Evolution Tree
- Note: Three Dragon Balls are needed for evolving the entire line. Two are used to change formes before being consumed for evolution and one is held for the final forme.
- Note: Once a Saiyan Pokémon attains a certain level, it cannot gain EXP until evolution. This is an automatic "EXP Lock" which is a unique trait to the Saiyan Line.

Trivia
- The Saiyan Line was originally released on PokéFarm 1 and were released on the 26th of February 2010.
- Super Saiyan 3 Raticate was not originally a Mega Evolution, as Mega Evolutions did not yet exist.
- The Saiyan Line was much easier to obtain, as Dragonballs were not much of a rarity.
- The Saiyan line is based off of the anime series Dragon Ball Z.
- The Koroku and Super Saiyan lines are the only two Pokémon lines in the game which have mega evolutions with different names from the Pokémon they evolved from.
