Did you know that you don't need to check your PokéDex to see if you have the entry of an Egg or not? The text at the bottom of the Shelter can tell you whether you have that entry. If it only tells you that it's an Egg, then you should adopt it to find out what's inside! If you have already hatched it previously, the Shelter will tell you the name of the Pokémon that hatches from the egg.
