5,000 adoptions are more than enough to go on a hunt! If you have the Albino Radar active, then any Egg that hatches has a chance of being Albino. You can also Shiny Hunt with a PokéRadar and either Hypermode or a PokéRadar+, but then you would need to hatch one kind of Eggs over and over. Finding the same kind of Eggs is a lot easier if you breed them in the DayCare.
