Mega Evolution is a special kind of Evolution. Once you obtain your first Mega Accessory from the lab, you will also receive a random Mega Stone. Some Pokémon have a Mega Stone named after them. Mega Evolving outside of battle is different and difficult to do - Mega Evolving can be done from a Pokémon's summary page with a little bit of Doug's help. You can spend Credits or Gold Poké to Mega Evolve a Pokémon permanently. However, the Mega Stone is destroyed in the process, so choose wisely.
