The PokéDex is a tool available to all farmers on PokéFarm Q. It is used to record and browse information on all the Pokémon a user has obtained.
Main Screen
Opening the PokéDex shows two main options:
- List: This takes the user to the standard display.
- Search: This allows a user to search for a certain Pokémon. As of this writing, it has not been programmed in.
In addition, the bottom half of the screen displays a chart. This chart tells a user how many PokéDex and ShinyDex entries have been obtained for each region.
List
The List section displays all the Pokémon a user has obtained. They are divided into seven categories, with labeled tabs:
- ???: This is for Pokémon that are unidentified. This only appears if a user has unknown eggs in their party.
- Kanto: This has all "First Generation" Pokémon, from #001-#166.
- Johto: This has all "Second Generation" Pokémon, from #167-#265.
- Hoenn: This has all "Third Generation" Pokémon, from #266-#404.
- Sinnoh: This has all "Fourth Generation" Pokémon, from #405-#493.
- Unova: This has all "Fifth Generation" Pokémon, from #494-#649.
- Kalos: This has all "Sixth Generation" Pokémon, from #650-#720.
The Pokédex no longer follows the official order. The "Generations" are now organized by evolution families, and has merged Nidoran Male and Female.
