Gems are a rare items that you can find when hatching eggs. They currently have no use other then as a collectible.
The gem's type relies on the type of the pokemon you are hatching. If it's dual typed, the gem will always be the first type that the pokemon is.
Acree's bonus counter, when reached the max after the site hatches 99 000 eggs, affects the amount of gems obtained by a random multiplier.
