What are Fossils?
Fossils are a brand new aspect of Pokefarm. They can be found by sending out into the Scour Areas. When a pokemon returns it may be holding a fossil which will be added to your inventory like any other item.
Reviving Fossils
Once obtained, you can find your fossils in the Lab. Reviving a fossil requires interaction points which you can obtain by clicking pokemon in other player's fields. The number of interactions per fossil may be different depending on what fossil you are reviving. A revived pokemon is designated by a "Prehistoric" icon next to its gender. These pokemon are placed in your Party if you have an empty spot. If not, you will be prompted to move a pokemon into your fields and the pokemon will then take its place.
Reviving a fossil while on a chain hunt does not break the chain.
Observation of those doing hunts with a Prehistoric pokemon in their party leads speculation that said pokemon gives a massive boost to EHP/EXP of pokemon of their same species when used for the party boost. Actual amount of this bonus amount of unknown at this time.
