Tera Shards were introduced on the 11th of May, 2024 along with the Stellar V~Wave. Tera Shards are a type-specific, tear-shaped gem.
Obtaining
Any Egg hatched during a Stellar V~Wave has a chance to produce a Tera Shard, determined by the Pokémon's typing. In the case of dual-type Pokémon, or Delta Pokémon, the type of Tera Shard is randomly chosen between the Pokémon's types and Delta type. Ravyne's Bonus Counter boosts the chance of an egg producing a Tera shard.
There are 19 total Tera Shards - one for each Pokémon type, plus a Stellar Tera Shard, which can be obtained by combining one of each Tera Shard at the Holon Research Tower.
Usage
Pokémon can have their Delta Type changed using any type of Tera Shard, with the exception of Stellar Tera Shards. Users can use the Tera Shards in the Holon Research Tower.
Stellar Tera Shards can be given to Terapagos in order to change it into Terastal Forme.
