The Trainer Card is a Key Item that identifies one as a Pokémon Trainer. It is publicly available to all via the User Page.

Information Displayed

The Trainer Card is used to display information about a PokéFarm user and their farm. A Trainer Card has a front and a back view; each side shows personal information about its trainer.

The front of the Trainer Card

The following information of the user is displayed at the front of the Trainer Card:

  • Their trainer ID, shortened with T.ID.
  • Their username, which can only be adjusted in the Tools/Options part of the Farm. It cannot be completely changed by usual means, to change a username it is necessary to contact the Support Centre.
  • Their Favourite Pokémon of the user. It can be changed by clicking on it and either enter the URL of the Pokémon or to select it from the Fields.
  • Their current Credit count.
  • Their chosen Starter's species.
  • Their Rank and Class.
  • Their status, which is entered by the user. It does not allow BBCode, but it is possible to insert a link by using the URL given from the "Get Shortlink" on the bottom of every page. Pasting the URL will change its appearance to a clickable [link]

Trainer Image and Gender

The trainer image, which displays the gender of the user is also found on the front of the Trainer Card. It can be changed by the user by clicking the image and selecting their desired gender. If a user has obtained the Mega Ring from Professor Holly, their trainer images will show what Mega Accessory they have active.

The Favourite Pokémon feature allows one Pokémon to be displayed on a user's trainer card; visible to all on their User Page. This feature was originally meant for Hypermode users; but as of Feb. 16th, 2014, it has been available to all users, due to popular demand.

Setting a Favourite Pokémon

If no Favourite Pokémon is set, a user can click on the empty PokéBall found on their Trainer Card. It will ask if the user would like to select their favourite Pokémon from the user's Party/Fields. Once selected, the Pokémon will be displayed on the Trainer Card. If a favourite Pokémon is set, a user can edit it by clicking on the Pokémon again. Three options will appear:

  • Visit: This will direct to the Pokémon's Summary Page.
  • Change: Allows the user to go back to his or her fields and select a different Favourite Pokémon, or enter the direct URL for the new Pokémon's summary page.
  • Remove: If the user does not want a favourite Pokémon on his or her Trainer Card, the feature may be disabled.

The back of the Trainer Card

The following information of the user is displayed at the back of the Trainer Card:

  • Their username.
  • Their Farm's name, which can be changed through the Tools/Options for a fee of 500₢.
  • The date in which the user joined PokéFarm.
  • Their total interaction count.
  • Their progress on the EggDex and PokéDex.
  • Their progress on the ShinyDex, if they have obtained at least one Shiny Pokémon.
  • The icons of the Pokémon and Eggs in their Party.

Appearance of the Trainer Card

Trainer Cards differ each others mainly through their colour. This colour is determined by the Rank of a user, while lower Ranks are blue and bright the higher Ranks are darker and redder. Two exceptions are the Arceus Rank Trainer Card which is bright gold and the Trainer Cards of the Staff which are all in the same colour of grey. The Trainer Cards of the Staff don't display the Rank as an image but instead their role within the Staff through a different Pokéball. Retired Staff members have the same Trainer Card as other regular users.

Glow of a Trainer Card

A Trainer Card can have a golden glow around it, this is due to the Class of a user. The glow gets stronger with a higher Class and reaches its maximum with the SHINY Class.
