Welp. I just maxed out the Attack/Speed EVs on my Saiyan (+6 HP), and nothing new is popping up on its page. Oh well, at least I have a fully-trained Pokemon for when we DO figure out how to change it... [[User:Blahsadfeguie|Blahsadfeguie]] ([[User talk:Blahsadfeguie|talk]]) 08:22, 25 January 2015 (GMT)

Looks like Saiyan Rattata does not evolve (General tab of its summary says it is "Basic Pokémon (Final)").

Also the Saiyan line has 6 members (according to new PokeDex):

  • Saiyan Rattata
  • Super-Saiyan Rattata
  • Super-Saiyan Raticate
  • Super-Saiyan 2 Raticate
  • Super-Saiyan 3 Raticate
  • Super-Saiyan 4 Raticate

// dpkg95 PFQ // 05:35, 23 January 2015 (GMT)

And one more thing: Saiyan Rattata is capped to level 25 (source). // dpkg95 PFQ // 20:28, 23 January 2015 (GMT)

I have a hunch that evolving/ascending/whatever it involves Super Training in some way. Later I'll try pumping mine with attack/speed EVs and seeing what happens. My only other idea would be leaving it in a Fighting-type field and maxing out its friendship, but the Super Training thing seems more likely. Blahsadfeguie (talk) 04:30, 25 January 2015 (GMT)

It's a possibility that EV training is involved, and a good idea, but i'm not sure if the Dragon Balls from PF1 are on PFQ as well or not. If so, i'd assume that would have something to do with it.
