Seasonal Line
The Seasonal Line encompasses Seasonal Turtwig, Seasonal Grotle, and Seasonal Torterra, which were released as the first official regular event and are Exclusive Pokémon.
Obtaining
Seasonal Turtwig can be obtained by trading with other users, or by breeding a female Turtwig with a male Deerling.
Event
The Seasonal Line was the first event to run as a regular event, whereby users' interaction points were counted and the top 1,000 users had a chance to receive the event after a specified date according to their rank (100% at #1 and 0.1% at #1,000). However, as Niet was not able to code the event calculation in time, the first 1000 users all received a Seasonal Turtwig egg.

Name origin: Seasonal, based on the fact that it changes with the seasons, and Turtwig, the Pokémon it is.

As Grotle changes to match the current season, it affects nearby plant life too.
