The PokéDex is a Key Item available to all farmers on PokéFarm Q. It is used to record and browse information on all the Pokémon a user has obtained. It is important to note that PokéFarm has its own unique listing of Pokémon and does not follow other national PokéDex orderings but instead follows pokemon family lines. This means Nidoran Male and Female are merged together

Main Screen

The main screen shows which regions you can click on to see your pokemon. You can alternatively choose "All Regions" to look at your full PokéDex progress.

Opening the PokéDex shows the following options/regions to look through:

  • Kalos: includes Sixth Generation Pokémon, from #650-#720
  • All Regions: includes all Pokémon
  • Pokéfarm Q: includes all special Pokémon only found on PokéFarm Q

The main screen also shows your completion progress for Eggs, Pokémon, Shiny Pokémon, Albino Pokémon, and Melanistic Pokémon, as well as your overall total completion.

Viewing your Pokémon

When viewing your Pokémon in the PokéDex (after clicking one of the 8 options shown), your PokéDex screen will switch over to show you an organized list of all PokéDex in that section regardless if you have obtained them or not. Obtained Pokémon will show a part of their own art for their boxes

The new PokéDex also includes filters to easily check which Pokémon you do or do not have for the EggDex, PokéDex, ShinyDex, AlbiDex, and MelanDex, as well as a search bar and a way to search for a certain type of Pokémon. You may also reset your selected filters. These buttons are found on the bottom of the PokéDex.

Information

Viewing an entry for a Pokémon displays the following information:

Viewing Houndour in the PokéDex (Click to see the full setup!)
  • Species: This displays the Pokémon's Egg and Pokemon information.
    • Egg: The information on the egg includes how many steps/interactions the pokemon needs to hatch
    • Pokemon: The information on the actual pokemon.
      • This information also includes the Gender ratio, how fast the pokemon gains EXP, Egg Group, and Body Style.
        • Hovering over the gender ratio gives you a ratio described in words, i.e. Rattata's gender ratio is "1 Male to 1 Female"
  • Forme: This displays the pokemon's physical information.
    • Type and Colour
    • Evolution (including what is needed to make it evolve and it shows what it needs to mega evolve if available)
  • Registration: Shows the sprites for your Eggdex, Pokedex, Shinydex, Albinodex, and Melandex as well as amount of times obtained plus the dates of those encounters.
    • You can click the sprites to see their art in the custom made picture.

Trivia

  • Viewing "All Regions" does not include PokéFarm Q Pokémon.
  • If you do not have the EggDex entry for a first evolution Pokémon, the entry's EggDex section will have X's covering the description.
