Viewing Account Upgrades in the Inventory.

The Inventory is found on the Farm page of the site.

Information

Users can find all of their items, with the exception of Accessories, in their Inventory. All items are sorted by their corresponding category. A category will not appear unless the user possesses an item that belongs to the category.

Once a user clicks on an item an information popup will come up. This popup states the name of the item, its category, how many a user has, its description, and how much it sells for. There are also three buttons:

  • Give: This allows the user to give the item to a Pokémon.
  • Sell: This allows the user to sell the item directly to the system for the amount that is stated in the information box.
Note: The Market Board is another way to sell items.
  • Find: This allows the user to find which Pokémon is holding the item, if any.

Categories

The categories are as follows:

Account Upgrades

For more detailed information, please visit Account Upgrades.

These are items that "upgrade" the user's experience on the site, give bonuses, or unlock other site features. All users are given the Shelter Pass C, an item of this category, after completing part of the Tutorial. Other Upgrades can be purchased with Gold Poké or Zophan Canisters.

Evolution Stones

For more detailed information, please visit Evolution Stones.

Evolution Stones behave similarly to the same items in the Pokémon games. These are items that allow Pokémon to evolve (with the user's permission) by holding the stone. However, only certain Pokémon will evolve with the help of these items, with each Evolution using a specific evolution stone.

Notable examples of this category are the Fire Stone and Thunder Stone.

Evolution Items

For more detailed information, please visit Evolution Items.

Evolution Items behave similarly to Evolution Stones, as they need to be held by specific Pokémon in order for evolution to occur. Most of these items only function via Trade Evolution.

Examples of this category include the Reaper Cloth, Up-Grade, and Tart Apple.

Special Evolution Items

For more detailed information, please visit Special Evolution Items.

Special Evolution Items work like other Evolution Items, but are used in PokéFarm Q to compensate for evolution mechanics that are not present in PokéFarm Q.

Examples include the Move Orbs, which compensate for the lack of Battle Moves in Pokéfarm Q.

The Everstone is also present in this category, which prevents a Pokémon from evolving when held.

Plates

For more detailed information, please visit Plates and Memories.

Plates are rare items that can be used to change Arceus' forme and type. Silvally's Memories, which change Silvally's forme and type, are also located here.

Forme-Change Items

For more detailed information, please visit Forme-Change Items.

Forme-Change Items are used to change a Pokémon's forme. A Pokémon may have more than one forme, but a Forme-Change Item can only be used by the Pokémon it belongs to.

Certain items in this category are used in Evolution, such as using a Rain Jewel on a Sliggoo. The Rain Jewel will be consumed upon evolving the Sliggoo into a Goodra.

Summon Items

For more detailed information, please visit Summon Items.

Summon Items allow the user to summon a Legendary Pokémon, provided that the conditions are met.

Mega Stones

For more detailed information, please visit Mega Stones.

Mega Stones are unique held items to be given to specific Pokémon, unlocking Mega Evolutions.

Data Volumes

For more detailed information, please visit Data Volumes.

Data Volumes are unique held items to be given to specific Pokémon, unlocking their Paradox Formes.

Training Bags

For more detailed information, please visit Training Bags.

Training Bags are items that raise the EVs of Pokémon or have other special effects when used in the Dojo.

Incense

For more detailed information, please visit Incense.

Incense is used to breed Baby Pokémon. It can be purchased from the Daycare.

Consumables

For more detailed information, please visit Consumables.

As the name suggests, Consumables are single-use items with some type of effect. The effect is determined by the Consumable used and can differ greatly.

The Cookie, for example, can boost the Happiness of a Pokémon by 50 points and its EXP by 50% of its max value for its current level.

Pokéblocks

For more detailed information, please visit Pokéblocks.

Pokéblocks are a type of consumable used to boost the various contest stats of Pokémon. They are also used in certain Evolutions, such as evolving Feebas into Milotic.

Z-Crystals

For more detailed information, please visit Z-Crystals.

Z-Crystals are items used with the Albino Radar to boost the chances of hatching an Albino Pokémon, but only for that Z-Crystal's type.

Gems

For more detailed information, please visit Gems.

Gems are items that cannot be purchased but are obtained via hatching Eggs. There are 18 Gem types, each one signifying a Pokémon type. A Pokémon can only produce Gems of its type when hatched, and the Delta type of a Pokémon does not change the type of Gems that are received.

As of the 15th of July 2016, Gems no longer have a "random chance" of being given when hatching an Egg, but instead, a Gem will be obtained every time an Egg is hatched.[1]

When Ravyne's Bonus Counter is active, there will be a multiplier for the number of Gems received from an Egg.

Fishing Gear

For more detailed information, please visit Fishing Gear.

Fishing Gear can be bought from the Fishing Hut for credits, and are a necessity for any and all fishing enthusiasts on PokéFarm Q.

Berries

For more detailed information, please visit Berries.

This category is split into four tabs: Common Berries, Berries, Rare Berries, and Special Berries. The differences in these categories are unknown as of yet, with the exception of their value. Each of these berries may be planted in the Berry Garden.

Mulch

For more detailed information, please visit Mulch.

These items that can be bought are used to affect Berries and their growth patterns in the Berry Garden.

Boxes

For more detailed information, please visit Boxes.

Boxes are items that can be found by scouring and the Pokéwalker. They are random drops, and their contents are similarly random. They can contain a variety of items, from Berries to Gold Poké to Summon Items.

Treasure

For more detailed information, please visit Treasure.

Treasure items can be sold for Credits or used to upgrade Badges. Nugget, Scrap Metal, and Stardust are used used to evolve certain Pokémon. E.G. Give Gosold a Nugget to evolve into Goldesem.

Fossils

For more detailed information, please visit Fossils.

Fossils can be used to revive prehistoric Pokémon whose Eggs are not placed in the Lab. They are found by scouring.

Event Items

For more detailed information, please visit Event Items.

Event Items are items that were obtained and used during certain Site Events. They serve no purpose outside of their respective Events.

Super Totem Stickers and Salon Vouchers are also present in this category.

Key Items

For more detailed information, please visit Key Items.

These are items that allow the user access to certain features and include the PokéDex and Farm Key. Some of these items are received via progressing through the tutorial, and others are received by purchasing them or hitting certain milestones on your farm.

These items are unsellable and cannot be given to a Pokémon.

Searching the Inventory

Users can search for items in their inventory both on the Farm Page and the "Give Item" menu. They can also search for items in the Trade Centre and the Market Board.

The item search will search anywhere in the item's name, so searching "red" would result in the Red Gigaremo, Red Gummi, and Red Pokéblock if they are in the player's inventory or on the Market Board.

It also supports Regular Expressions for any nerds out there. For a very basic run-down:

  • ^th will match items starting with "th"
  • th$ will match items ending with "th" (eg. Galarica Wreath)
  • .* matches zero-or-more of anything (optional wildcard)
  • .+ matches one-or-more of anything (required wildcard)
