Be careful when you enter your information. Most of it is difficult to change later. Some things, like your Date of Birth, cannot be changed without VERY good reason.
When registering it is possible to connect your account to Facebook or to enter your information manually. Connecting to Facebook would mean, that the information about your date of birth will be taken from there, so please make sure it is correct or contact a member of [[Staff]] otherwise. You also won't have a password, but will use Facebook instead to log in.

Your Username needs to be unique. If you choose something you do not like or make a mistake while typing, you have one free username change. After the free change, username changes are less likely to happen without very good reason, and may be denied altogether. This is to prevent confusion with other users.
If you enter your information manually, then please be careful about it being correct. All details must be true as they may be needed to confirm the ownership to the account. If something was added incorrectly then it is necessary to contact the [http://support.pokefarm.org/ Support Centre] with an explanation of the situation. A member of the Staff can then correct the wrong information.

Most of your other information also cannot be changed without staff assistance. The only exception is your password, which you can freely alter from the Miscellaneous Settings page. Still, be sure that your password is both strong and something that you can easily remember. Using words like "pokemon" or "123456" is not safe. The safest passwords use a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. For example, "g50EoS" may be a safer choice than "pokemon."

Your e-mail address needs to be correct because you will need to validate your account to fully join the site. It is one of the three steps you need to take in order to ensure that your account is not deleted.

Registration

Clicking on the large "Get Started Now!" button on the PFQ home page will allow you to begin creating your account. Do not forget to read the Privacy Policy, and it is a good idea to also read the Site Rules.

Note: Do not create a second account under any circumstances.

Your username needs to be unique, but it also must follow the rules. PokéFarm Q is in general child-friendly, therefore names that are not appropriate for children are not permitted. After deciding on a name you are able to adjust the letters on the Tools/Options of the Farm page. However, if a completely new username is wanted, then it is possible to contact the Support Centre. A user is permitted to change their name once without having to provide a reason, and then not again for a year. Exceptions are made if the user can provide an urgent reason that requires a username change.

When registering it is possible to connect your account to Facebook or to enter your information manually. Connecting to Facebook would mean, that the information about your date of birth will be taken from there, so please make sure it is correct or contact a member of Staff otherwise. You also won't have a password, but will use Facebook instead to log in.

Note: It is always possible to link your account to Facebook afterwards, but unlinking would require you to contact the Support Centre.

If you enter your information manually, then please be careful about it being correct. All details must be true as they may be needed to confirm the ownership to the account. If something was added incorrectly then it is necessary to contact the Support Centre with an explanation of the situation. A member of the Staff can then correct the wrong information.

It is possible to link your account to Facebook or to chose a password instead. If you chose a password, then make sure that it is both strong and easy for you to remember. Using words like "pokemon" or "123456" is not safe as they can be easily guessed. The safest passwords use a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

After your registration an e-mail will be sent to the address you provided. This email is needed to activate your account to fully join the site.
