Forum subscriptions help the user to keep tabs on certain threads in the Public Forums. Upon subscribing to certain threads, the user will receive a notification when a user posts. The user is able to see which user has posted in specific threads and how long ago they posted. The user's subscriptions are organised into the forum categories.
The 'Subscribe to this thread' button at the top right of a thread subscribes the user to the thread. After they have subscribed to a thread, they can unsubscribe by clicking the button again, which will then read 'Unsubscribe from this thread'.
All of the user's followed threads will be accessible through the link at the top right of your page above 'Public Forums'. The link displays as the number of subscription alerts you currently have.
