PFQ's festivities are referred to as Events, be they items, Pokémon or occurences on-site. An announcement is made whenever an Event takes place, sometimes even a couple of days/weeks prior to the Event so that users can prepare for it.

Events are ordered by descending dates.

Ongoing

Fabulous Friday [Every Friday starting from 8/Jun/2014]

On every Friday, all interactions made will fill a special charge bar located at this page, then the next day, the energy collected in the FabuBar♥ will supercharge a random bonus counter located at the top of the page, regardless of the progress of the bonus counter itself. However, the strength of the bonus will depend on how charged up the bar is. Since it is a Special Bonus day, the counter will not reset afterwards.

Recent Past

Voltorb Flip [16/May/2014-26/May/2014]

During the majority of this time period (5/24-5/26 was an extension) PFQ was shut down, showing users only a read-only version of the website. The Big Update was being added at this time, and Niet provided users with a game similar to that found in Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Niet's version of Voltorb Flip operated similarly to the handheld's, albeit without an option to open a memo (a task proven moot by the user's ability to simply open Notepad or a similar application). During the gaming period, users competed to win one of several Sylveons: 60 Sylveons total were given out to the top 20 users in each of the three categories (Total Coins, Highest Level, Highest Win Ratio). A shiny Sylveon was given to the top placers in each category. A list of the winners can be found here while the large table displaying everyone's hard work can be found here.

The game was initially reached by this link, but now it only displays your own results.

April Fool's Day [1/Apr/2014]

I set up you the bomb!

All Pokémon sprites were changed to one of Espurr in a bubble. Upon viewing a Pokémon's summary page, the owner's name would show up as CATS, one of the site's Non-Playable Characters.

The event is a reference to Zero Wing, a video game which has become infamous on the internet for its extremely bad translation. CATS' Trainer Card note, farm name, and Pokémon descriptions are all pieces of dialogue from the game's intro. His user description has a music player, which plays the game's intro theme.

Valentine's Day [14/Feb/2014 - 16/Feb/2014]

From February 14th to February 16th, users could obtain Sweet Hearts. These odd items could give unique effects to Pokémon, as well as boost their Happiness. The effects are currently unknown, as they have not been programmed in yet.

The catch for Sweet Hearts, however, was that they could not be purchased directly. Instead, users must gift them to each other. On the purchasing screen, a user can select a user to gift to, how many Sweet Hearts to send, and whether or not to send them anonymously. A message can also be attached. Each Sweet Heart costs 1,000 Credits to send, but they can also be paid for in 10 Zophan Canisters each.

The amount of Sweet Hearts bought is kept track of. The top 10 buyers receive Heart Scales after the event. Again, these do not have a specific purpose currently.

Advent Calendar [1/Dec/2013 - 25/Dec/2013]

On the first day of December 2013, the Advent Calendar was started. the calendar could be viewed by going to a specific page for it. When the page was visited, the user could receive a reward. These rewards would be unique Accessories, in sets of five each. Currently, these Accessories can not be found anywhere else. A single Accessory set would be obtainable for one day in sever-time. Once the reset happened, the current Accessory set would be swapped out for another.

The event ran from December 1st to December 24th. In that time, these Accessories could be gotten:

  • Big Candy Cane
  • Blue Bauble
  • Blue/Silver Bauble
