Events Page
Regular Events
The Events page provides information about the Banked Interaction Points, earned Interaction Points for the next Event and the Rank. The Events Page updates once an hour. Banked Interaction Points can be used to purchase an Event, all Interaction Points are banked after the Event is over. The Event Rank depends on how many Interaction Points a user earned compared to other user. The Banked Interaction Points do not count. Only user who are in the top 1,000 get the chance to win the Event by spinning a wheel, the user on the 1St place gets the Event instantly.
These are Events that occur with some regularity, and can be expected to happen every month or week.
*Mass-Click Weekend
*Contests
*Weekly Tournament
*Type Race

Events can be purchased until a month after the Event has been released. With an Early Event Pass it is possible to purchase it after it has been released, a user in Hypermode has to wait one week and a regular user two weeks.
Retired Events
Events that take place without the Events page have usually special conditions that are either stated in the Event's Announcement or are left secret to the user. These Events are generally considered "Retired" and will not be returning in the same format.

Claiming a Reward
For a comprehensive list of past events and rewards released during the events, please check the Past Events page.
If the Event takes place outside of the Event Page then the announcement regarding the Event explains how the reward can be claimed. The reward is either send to the users who deserve it or has to be picked up by them on the designated page. User are not notified about items being sent to them, instead they appear in the Inventory of the user. Pokémon are sent by SYSTEM and have to be accepted in the Trade Centre.

Obtaining the Reward without participating in the Event
*12 Days of Christmas
Currently the only way of purchasing a missed Event is on the Events Page through Banked Interaction Points. Because of this it is only possible to obtain missed Custom Sprites and items by trading with another user. New Species can be bred or with much luck found in the Shelter. When breeding Events it is notable, that only 1% of all bred Event Eggs go to the Shelter.

Mass-click Weekend [26/July/2014 - 27/July/2014]
**Astral Disruption (2017)
All interactions made during this two day period went towards a goal of 10,000 interactions. If a user met this individual goal, that user was awarded a Floatzelite Q Mega Stone the following Monday evening. This event was joined with a special activation of additional Bonus Counters for the entire weekend.

Voltorb Flip [16/May/2014 - 26/May/2014]
**Easter (2017)
During the majority of this time period (5/24-5/26 was an extension) PFQ was shut down, showing users only a read-only version of the website. The Big Update was being added at this time, and Niet provided users with a game similar to that found in Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Niet's version of Voltorb Flip operated similarly to the handheld's, albeit without an option to open a memo (a task proven moot by the user's ability to simply open Notepad or a similar application). During the gaming period, users competed to win one of several Sylveons: 60 Sylveons total were given out to the top 20 users in each of the three categories (Total Coins, Highest Level, Highest Win Ratio). A shiny Sylveon was given to the top placers in each category. A list of the winners can be found here while the large table displaying everyone's hard work can be found here.

All Pokémon sprites were changed to one of Espurr in a bubble. Upon viewing a Pokémon's Summary Page, the owner's name would show up as CATS, one of the site's Non-Playable Characters.

CATS' Trainer Card note, farm name, and Pokémon descriptions are all pieces of dialogue from the game's intro. His user description has a music player, which plays the game's intro theme.

Valentine's Day [14/Feb/2014 - 16/Feb/2014]
From February 14th to February 16th, users could obtain Sweet Hearts. These odd items could give unique effects to Pokémon, as well as boost their Happiness. The effects are currently unknown, as they have not been programmed in yet.

The catch for Sweet Hearts, however, was that they could not be purchased directly. Instead, users must gift them to each other. On the purchasing screen, a user can select a user to gift to, how many Sweet Hearts to send, and whether or not to send them anonymously. A message can also be attached. Each Sweet Heart costs 1,000 Credits to send, but they can also be paid for in 10 Zophan Canisters each.

The amount of Sweet Hearts bought is kept track of. The top 10 buyers receive Heart Scales after the event. Again, these do not have a specific purpose currently.

Advent Calendar [1/Dec/2013 - 25/Dec/2013]
On the first day of December 2013, the Advent Calendar was started. the calendar could be viewed by going to a specific page for it. When the page was visited, the user could receive a reward. These rewards would be unique Accessories, in sets of five each. Currently, these Accessories can not be found anywhere else. A single Accessory set would be obtainable for one day in sever-time. Once the reset happened, the current Accessory set would be swapped out for another.

The event ran from December 1st to December 24th. In that time, these Accessories were obtainable:
*Big Candy Cane
*Blue Bauble
*Blue/Silver Bauble
*Blue Tinsel Tree
*Candy Cane
*Christmas Star
*Gold Bauble
*Gold Bell
*Gold Tinsel Tree
*Large Gift
*Left Chibi Wing
*Left Seraphin Wing
*Medium Gift
*Red Bauble
*Red/Gold Bauble
*Red Tinsel Tree
*Right Chibi Wing
*Right Seraphin Wing
*Santa Hat
*Silver Bauble
*Silver Bell
*Silver Tinsel Tree
*Small Gift
*Trumpet

On December 25th, the calendar page would have a new event. On that day, the user could interact 1,000 times to get a reward. The reward turned out to be a Mightyenite Q, a Mega Stone.

Mass Click Weekend[26/July/2014 - 27/July/2014]
On the 26th day of July Mass clicking became an event.  If a user could accomplish 10,000 clicks or more within the weekend of July 26th and the 27th then on the following Monday (July 28th, 2014) that user would be awarded with a prize, but only one of that prize (no multiples were given out).  The prize was a Floatzelite Q Mega_Stone.  there was no page developed for this event, but you can see your today's interactions here.
