Custom Sprite Pokémon are special Pokémon that have an edited sprite, yet are not of a new species. Custom Sprite Pokémon can never be Shiny, Albino, or Melanistic, with the exception of Nerdy Illumise, show no gender specific differences and cannot be bred. These unique Pokémon can be identified by the symbol to the right of their name.

Obtaining

Custom Sprites can be obtained through Events and promotions; however, they do not count towards the Pokédex as unique entries. Pokémon can also be made Custom Sprites by equipping them with a Costume in the Dressing Room.
