Abbreviations

Abbreviations are used quite often on PokéFarm Q by users. An abbreviation can help shorten the amount of space that is used in places like a Trainer Card. This is a list of commonly used abbreviations and acronyms.

Game(s) related

Abbreviations that are related to the name of games.

• PFQ: PokéFarm Q, the game you're currently playing!
• PFNew/PFN: The unreleased version of PokéFarm Q that’s still in development.
• PF1: The old PokéFarm, it was shut down on the 27^th of October 2015.
• ORAS: Refers to the Pokémon games Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
• PLA/PL:A: Refers to the Pokémon game Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
• PMD: Refers to the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games.
• SuMo: Refers to the Pokémon games Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
• SV/ScaVi: Refers to the Pokémon games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
• SwSh: Refers to the Pokémon games Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
• USUM: Refers to the Pokémon games Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.
• X/Y: Refers to the Pokémon games Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

Trading

Abbreviations related to trading with other users. These are usually seen in the Trade Forums or in a user's Fields.

• AB: Auto-buy
  • Allows a user to buy an item without having to worry that they will get out-bid.
• B: Buying
• Refers to an item/Pokémon the user wants in return.
• BOGO: Buy One, Get One
• Delta Prices: Pricing based on how many delta points the special yields.
• Dextrade: Temporary trades to get the PokéDex entry of a Pokémon.
• DP: Delta Points
• Fodder: Trade Fodder
  • Normal Pokémon without value, that are used to trade items.
• FS: For Sale
• H: Have
  • Refers to something the user has.
• LF: Looking For
  • Refers to an item/Pokémon the user wants in return.
• NFT: Not for Trade or Never for Trade.
• NUFT - Not up for Trade/Never up for Trade.
  • NFT and NUFT refer to something the user doesn't want to trade.
• O: Offering
  • Refers to something the user is offering.
• PWYW - Pay What You Want
  • Price is set by the customer.
• RTE: Ready to evolve
  • Can be used when trading ready to evolve Pokémon for evolutions for Gemwish badges.
• SB/MB: Starting Bid/Minimum Bid
  • The minimum bid for an auction.
• UFDT- Up For Dextrade
  • Pokémon that are available for dextrades.
• UFS: Up for Sale
  • Refers to something the user is offering for sale.
• UFT: Up for Trade
  • Refers to something the user is offering for trade.
• WTB: Want to Buy
  • Refers to an item/Pokémon the user wants in return.

Currency

• GP: Gold Poké
• ZC: Zophan Canisters

Staff Ranks/Userbars

• Admin: Administrator
• ChatOT: Chat Moderators
  • Limited moderation power, mostly related to the official Discord.
• MiT: Moderator in Training
• Mod: Moderator
• SMod/SM: Super Moderator
• WE: Wiki Editors
  • No moderation power except for the Wiki.

Hunting

These are commonly related to Pokémon Hunting.

• AR: Albino Radar
• DCP: DayCare Pass
• DP: Delta Points
• EVs: Effort Values
  • A Pokémon's battle stats that can be changed.
• HM: Hypermode
• IVs: Individual Values
  • A Pokémon's battle stats that can't be changed.
• PKRS/Rus: Pokérus
• PotD: Pokémon of the Day
  • This Pokémon has a higher chance of hatching Shiny during the day.
• PR: PokéRadar
• SLE: Super Lucky Egg
• TP: Troll Party
  • Hatching a Shiny and an Albino Pokémon in the same party, while actually hunting for a melanistic Pokémon.
• Uber/Über: Übercharm
• V~: V-Wave
  • This type gets a boost in received EXP during the day.

  • A character of your own creation.

  • Referring to either the first post(s) in a thread or the poster/author of said posts.
  • In some situations like roleplays, etc, OP may also mean Over Powered.

• RP: Roleplay
• Sona: Pokésona
  • An OC that is a Pokémon version of yourself.
• TBA: To be announced
• TL;DR: Too long; didn't read
• TPAY: The person above you
  • Mostly used in forum games, meaning the person who posted before you.
• TY/TYSM: Thank You/Thank You So Much
• WIP: Work in Progress
• YW/YVW: You're Welcome/You’re Very Welcome

• 0H/0S/0A/0M: Refers to results of a Pokémon hunt.
  • How many hatched Eggs/hatched Shiny Pokemon/hatched Albino Pokemon/hatched Melan Pokemon a user has had during the hunt.
• Alb: Albino Pokémon
• CS: Custom Sprite
• Melan/mlem: Melanistic Pokémon
• R/E/V/L: Regular/Exclusive/Variant/Legend
• S/A/M: Shiny/Albino/Melan
• S/A/M/D: Shiny/Albino/Melan/Delta

Exclusive Pokémon

  • Outdated term for EXP of an Egg.

• IP: Interaction Points
  • Points you get for interacting, can be used for Albino Hunting.
• LMB/RMB: Left Mouse Button/Right Mouse Button
  • LMB: Left click, default clicking button.
  • RMB: Right click
• MCW: Mass-Click Weekend
  • Clicking event at the end of every month.
• OT: Original Trainer
  • The trainer who originally hatched/adopted a Pokémon. This is used for the compatibility of a breeding pair.
• QOL/QoL: Quality of Life
  • QoL is a Userscript with a variety of quality-of-life tweaks and adjustments.
• RNG: Random Number Generator
  • Is used when the outcome of something is determined by random chance.
• S&S/SS/S+S: Sorted and stacked
  • Refers to the fields. It's when a field only has one type of Berry preference and all the Pokémon are stacked in one place for easier clicking.
• TR: Type Race
  • The Type Race is a monthly event, where everyone is assigned a team and you can earn points for your team by hatching Eggs.
